Position Title : Temporary Receptionist (On-call)

We are seeking a flexible professional to join us as an On-Call Receptionist at the McCain Foods Limited office in Florenceville-Bristol, NB . The on-call Receptionist will be called to cover the front desk for last-minute coverage when the full-time receptionist is feeling unwell as well as vacation coverage which will be arranged in advance. The role is the first company contact encountered by a visitor or caller to the business and acts as liaison between the public and the organization.

What you’ll do :

  • Greeting guests in a timely manner, notifying the employee of their guest’s arrival
  • Answering telephone calls and connecting to the appropriate contact
  • Book and coordinate hoteling workspaces for employees and visitors as requested
  • Book meeting rooms for employees and visitors as requested
  • Administrator for Guest Wi-Fi access at Florenceville main office
  • Assist cafeteria with closing sales paperwork daily
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail
  • Couriers; Fedex / UPS receiving, tracking incoming packages and notification to the recipient
  • Keep stock room with office supplies tidy and make note of items that need to be ordered
  • Other administrative duties may be required

Your Skills & Experience :

  • Post-secondary education, such as a college diploma in administration or a related field is considered an asset
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a receptionist, administrative support or customer service role
  • This role requires a professional and resilient individual with strong customer service skills and attention-to-detail
  • Strong phone presence and professionalism
  • Business casual attire is required
  • Strong English language skills required
  • Bilingual English / French is an asset
