As an Assistant Superintendent working in the Building Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth, challenging industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will work closely with the superintendents, project management team, various client groups and subtrades to ensure project excellence through your outstanding leadership, keen eye for detail and commitment to quality, and health and safety.

What You Will Do

• Become the safety champion for all job sites. Leading by example in Health & Safety and Environmental Protection, ensuring compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proactively manage project materials to meet our first-class Quality Program. Your attention to detail ensures excellence.
• Collaborate with trade partners and consultants to drive the construction schedule, ensuring all milestones and completion target dates are met.
• Recommend creative methods to boost efficiency and project excellence.
• Keep our workforce up to date. Actively receiving materials and ensuring adherence to all building codes.
• Maintain updated and accurate records and inventory for all projects, our logistics team relies on your precision!
• Play an integral role in the project wrap-up process, celebrating successful achievements with the team.

The expected salaryrange for this opportunity is $95,000 - $120,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on thecandidate’s experience and geographical location. Listed compensation isexclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits programwhich is listed above. Availability of certain benefits may vary based on thespecific job role.
