We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. In this pivotal role, you will be expected to handle a variety of accounting duties including the processing of customer applications, maintenance of customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with overseeing customer accounts and initiating appropriate actions.
Responsibilities :
- Efficiently handle customer credit applications
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer credit
- Take the lead in the collection process, ensuring timely follow-ups with customers and confirming payment details via customer portals
- Keep detailed notes on the status of payments
- Record customer deposits and reconcile any payment differences
- Process credit memos as necessary
- Address customer complaints through non-conforming process
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to resolve collection issues
- Perform additional accounting tasks as required
- Act as a proactive member of the accounting team, providing backup support for other positions when necessary.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
- Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficient in Data Entry tasks
- Experience in Invoice Processing
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Collections, especially B2B collections
- Knowledge in Credit - Collections is a must
- Familiarity with Adagio Accounting Suite would be an asset.
