As a Retail Packaging Operator , you'll play a vital role on our production floor, ensuring that high-quality products are packaged efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. From operating state-of-the-art automated equipment to performing quality checks, you'll help us deliver excellence - every bag, every box, every time.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Operate a variety of packaging equipment including : automated bagging lines, case packers, palletizers, stretch wrappers, ink jet labelers, check weighers, metal detectors, and screeners
- Monitor and test processes at metal detector critical control points
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and interpret equipment control screens
- Set up and calibrate lines for different products, ensure packaging materials are stocked, and perform quality seal and coding checks
- Use the "Wow" inventory system and handheld scanners to track production and update orders
- Complete daily documentation including production logs, packaging summaries, Galileo duty logs, and packing instructions
- Maintain FIFO procedures and assist with inventory counts
- Support sanitation efforts and follow all food safety guidelines

This position will be working 12-hr Modified shift schedule, including Weekend and night shifts.
