We are looking for a Shop Coordinator for our Cambridge, Ontario facility to fill a 12 - 14 month contract.
JOB PURPOSE
To assist Shop Supervision in time keeping and labour upload of shop employee hours. Day-to-day management of Shop Floor employees, including : processing of time and attendance, absenteeism, input of overtime / overtime refusals hours, distribution of reports to enable running of the shop as per the Collective Agreement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Time & Attendance
- Ensure daily accuracy of processed time and attendance.
- Clear error file daily as well as ensure all overtime worked has been authorized.
- Correct all variances and posted hours to Payroll.
- Enter absences daily into Shop Tracker (application for tracking shop hours).
- Enter all request to bank hour forms in Shop Tracker.
- Participate in month end deadlines with Payroll ensuring accurate and complete data.
- Correcting and corresponding with Payroll regarding shop pay issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[41,000]] and $[[61,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
