Job descriptionCurrently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Solid level of knowledge of excel with an interest in learning. Comfortable with programming languages (especially VBA) Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and / or Power BI would be an asset Basic understanding of accounting and related processes Excellent communication and teamwork skills. About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Process Optimization Intern to assist in identifying, developing, testing and implementing automated / streamlined solutions within our Finance department. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in finance processes and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing finance processes to identify areas for automation and streamlining.
- Collaborate with finance team members to gather requirements and understand workflows.
- Develop and implement automated solutions using tools such as Excel, Power BI, VBA, MS Forms and Power Automate.
- Assist in testing automated processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Document processes and provide training / support to team members on new processes & tools.
- Provide status reports on projects in progress
