Location : Toronto, Ontario

Industry : Light Industrial, Agricultural, and Commercial

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a reputable and growing Canadian design-build firm with a strong portfolio of light industrial, agricultural, and commercial projects across Canada. Known for their hands-on approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to quality, they are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their Toronto-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional to work on technically engaging and high-impact developments that serve a wide range of business and agricultural needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate conceptual and schematic designs into detailed construction documents using Revit
Support the creation of schematic designs, design development drawings, and full construction sets
Review and revise technical drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and client requirements
Coordinate technical documentation with engineering disciplines including structural, mechanical, and electrical
Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate 3D models and drawing sets through all project phases
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to support smooth project delivery
Maintain quality control of drawing standards and documentation formats
Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field

3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in industrial, agricultural, or commercial construction

Strong proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling and documentation

Working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp considered an asset

Familiarity with Ontario Building Code, zoning bylaws, and construction standards for industrial / agricultural buildings

Experience coordinating technical drawings with multidisciplinary teams

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving

Excellent communication and time management skills
