The Observatory will help measure the impact of INFOP's training and workforce development programs while generating valuable insights to support employers, job seekers, training institutions, and policymakers.

We are seeking a volunteer with expertise in employability, labour market research, workforce development, data analysis, and monitoring and evaluation to help design practical tools and systems that capture employment outcomes and support evidence-based decision-making.

Through this assignment, you will contribute to improving how workforce development programs measure success, identify labour market trends, and create stronger pathways to employment.

As a volunteer, you will:

  • Analyze collected data and produce findings, recommendations, and reports.
  • Create user-friendly tools and processes for ongoing labour market monitoring and analysis.
  • Knowledge Transfer and Capacity Building
  • Develop a practical user guide for data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Design and facilitate training workshops on the use of employability monitoring tools and systems.
  • Develop a facilitator's manual to support future delivery and replication of workshops.
  • Build staff capacity in data-driven decision-making and labour market analysis.
  • Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and leadership teams.

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, Education, Labour Studies, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management, Labour Economics, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience in employability, workforce development, labour market research, or program evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative research skills.
  • Experience designing surveys, assessments, or data collection methodologies.

Essential Background:

  • Experience collecting, processing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience in employability programs, workforce development initiatives, or labour market assessments.
  • Knowledge of labour market trends, workforce needs, and employment outcomes measurement.
  • Experience in organizational strengthening and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Experience designing career guidance, workforce readiness, or employment support programs.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and partners.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and critical thinking skills.

What’s in it for YOU? A life-changing experience!

By contributing to the development of INFOP's Employability Observatory, you will help create sustainable systems that improve skills development and employment opportunities for future generations.
