Job descriptionProficiency in operating CNC Swiss Lathes (Star specifically). Skilled in use of micrometer, height gauge and calipers, and Optical Comparator. Strong ability in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment. Warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics related to production. Solid understanding of machining processes and manufacturing practices. Experience in AS9100 or ISO 9001 : 2008 certified environments. Dental care Extended health care
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Swiss Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Star CNC Swiss Machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality components efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Swiss Lathes.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to operate machines accurately.
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and basic math skills.
- Collaborate with team members in the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
