Job description7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related fields . 3+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other public cloud services . Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, GKE, AKS, or similar container technologies . Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep . Experience with CI / CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools . Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Go, Bash, Java, or Node.js . Experience implementing Kubernetes security features such as Network Policies, Service Mesh, Certificate Manager, and Ingress Controllers . Knowledge of compliance policies and experience with tools such as Google Org Policy, Aquasec, or Wiz . Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus . Strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols, and identity management . Experience working with Linux operating systems , including RHEL and Ubuntu . Ability to manage public / private key certificates within cloud environments. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Certified Terraform Associate Other relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM ).
DevOps Container Engineer - Contract Role
We are looking for a DevOps Container Engineer to deliver enterprise cloud solutions while ensuring security and compliance across multiple business areas. The ideal candidate has prior experience with public cloud platforms , understands security and regulatory requirements , and has a strong background in automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) .
This role will involve collaborating with engineering, network, security, and risk management teams , as well as developers and business stakeholders , to enhance automation frameworks, security configurations, and deployment pipelines. Key Responsibilities :
- Deploy and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), AKS, or similar platforms .
- Develop security tools, scripts, and automation workflows to enhance container security operations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards by documenting security configurations, procedures, and guidelines .
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or other IaC tools to maintain consistent configuration.
- Design and optimize CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools .
- Implement security measures such as container scanning, runtime protection, and identity management .
- Develop microservices architecture , manage Ingress controllers , and implement service meshes for improved scalability and security.
- Consult on security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and resolve security gaps.
- Monitor system performance and optimize utilization of containerized environments.
- Assist with disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) to ensure system resilience.
