Summary :
The Sr. Development Manager contributes to and leads a team to execute on a systematic method to rapidly identify, obtain site control, and run prudent fatal flaw analyses for potential utility scale wind and solar energy projects. Demonstrates a deep understanding of development, risk identification and mitigation strategies, budget management, lease negotiations, staff management and team building.
Requirements :
- Functions as a key contributor within the Development Team, market identification and site prospecting strategies. This includes providing insights, first party research, market analysis, and synthesized data and analytics. Responsible for evaluating, preparing documentation for, and representing project level decisions at project evaluation meetings.
- Represents RES in Landowner and community settings.
- Works closely with energy resource engineers to identify optimum project sites and develop land acquisition strategies.
- Manages all aspects of the land-rights acquisition process.
- Works closely with legal counsel and senior development team members to draft land-rights documents.
- Manages land acquisition consultants and other temporary contractors.
- Works with Landowners and Energy Resource Engineers to get measurement equipment permitted and installed.
- Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
- Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

Anticipated base salary range : $166,000 - $170,000. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible. RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment. These benefits include the following :
