Job descriptionMinimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the mining, wastewater treatment, or environmental technology sectors. Proven success in selling complex technical solutions with a consultative sales approach. Strong understanding of business-to-business (B2B) sales strategies and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, mining operations, and regulatory requirements. Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate technical product specifications and benefits. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mining Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
About the Role : Our client is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts for their cutting-edge In-Situ Wastewater Treatment Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first sales hire in what could grow into a larger team as the company expands. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the B2B sales, focusing on the mining sector, and helping expand the market share with a highly technical and innovative product. You will be traveling to mine sites to meet with potential clients, understand their needs, and showcase the benefits of the patented technology.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and expand market share.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the mining and environmental sectors.
- Conduct presentations to clients on the advantages of our technology, focusing on its ability to ensure safe, green water discharge and facilitate valuable metal recovery from mine wastewater.
- Manage the entire sales cycle : prospecting, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing deals.
- Provide consultative sales expertise, addressing client needs and identifying how our technology can help solve complex wastewater treatment challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction post-sale.
