Physician Assistant Opportunity (Occupational Medicine)

24 / 7 Occupational & Emergency Medicine Solutions (24 / 7 OEMS) is currently Physician Assistants for future roles at remote mine occupational health clinics. 24 / 7 OEMS is a subsidiary of Bayshore HealthCare, a leading provider of home and community health care services.

The PA will be expected to :

• Provide on-site emergency / primary and occupational health services.
• Assist with occupational injury / illness case management.
• Review pre-employment medical examinations.
• Provide occupational health surveillance services : audiometric, spirometry and respiratory fit testing.
• Provide drug and alcohol testing services.

The PA will be expected to practice within the medical directives and formulary as approved by the 24 / 7 OEMS Medical Director. The PA will work as part of the on-site clinical team and have access to our 24 / 7 on-call emergency medicine consultants.

Job Qualification

The PA must have the following qualifications :

Prior experience in occupational medicine and or the provision of advanced care in a remote setting would be an asset. The PA will be required to have and maintain professional liability insurance for the duration of the project.

Start date will be early Dec 2024 with orientation followed by a rotation schedule of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
