Expert Support : Offer technical guidance and support for electronic and electrical designs and systems in aircraft, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada and FAA regulations.
Engineering Orders : Develop engineering orders to direct technical repair activities, interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic drawings, and produce CAD electrical diagrams.
Design & Modifications : Create and modify avionics and electrical designs for aircraft systems and installations. Ensure all modifications adhere to regulatory requirements.
Testing Equipment : Oversee the use of avionics calibration testing equipment, determine testing needs, and manage the procurement or rental of necessary equipment.
Training & Coaching : Train and guide technicians in the correct use of testing equipment and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.

Solid understanding of engineering principles

Familiarity with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Traffic Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS II)
Training and Experience :
3-5 years of experience in aircraft electrical / avionics engineering
Degree or diploma in Electrical / Avionics Engineering or Technology
Requirements :
Eligibility to meet Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements
Capability to obtain Canadian Government Security Clearances
