The operations coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the daily operations of our glass technicians, ensuring that all our customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal applicant will have excellent organization skills, great communication skills, and the ability to multitask with a strong understanding of urgency.
The operations coordinator will be responsible to ensuring timely ordering of materials and motivating the team to achieve our weekly and monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Scheduling & Dispatching
- Coordinating and scheduling customer appointments and installations, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, and ensuring Emergency Services are executed in a timely manner
- Monitoring the daily jobs to ensure timely completion
- Adjusting the schedule as required to meet targets
Customer Service
Act as the primary point of contact for our customers regarding scheduling, updates on orders, and service inquiresAddress and resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely mannerCommunication
Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external customersUpdate technicians on any schedule changes, urgent calls, and other relevant informationUpdate customers if there are any schedules changesOrdering of Inventory Supplies
Ensure materials are ordered in a timely mannerEnsuring that all required materials, hardware, and details are available prior to installationRecord Keeping
Identify and address any scheduling concerns and other operational issues as they ariseDevelop and implement solutions to improve scheduling efficiency and service deliveryCompliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standardsPromote a culture of safety and adherence to protocols among techniciansEducation
Highschool Diploma or equivalentExperience
Previous experience in scheduling, dispatching or related field is highly desirable (minimum 3-5 years of proven experience)Experience in the glass industry is beneficialSkills
