A typical day would involve :
Strategic Planning Support :
- Assist the Chief Technology & Information Officer and leadership team in the development, execution, and monitoring of the division’s strategic goals.
- Coordinate the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analytics for strategic planning sessions.
- Track key initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure progress aligns with objectives.
- Gather materials and support the development of reports for the Board of Directors and Technology Committee
Divisional Communications :
- Collaborate to develop internal and external communications that align with the division’s strategy and culture, including divisional all-hands meetings, intranet sites and newsletters.
- Draft newsletters, articles, memos, announcements, and presentations for dissemination to employees and other stakeholders.
- Manage communication calendars and assist with the planning and execution of divisional meetings and events.
Employee Engagement :
- Partner to develop initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive organizational culture.
- Coordinate engagement activities such as town halls, training and learning opportunities, employee feedback surveys and recognition programs.
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics, offering insights and recommendations to enhance the employee experience.
Operational Support :
- Oversee special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned, ensuring timely and successful execution. This may include but is not limited to invoicing inquiries, vendor relations and administration.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to the office of the Chief Technology & Information Officer.
You have :
- Undergraduate degree in Communications, Business or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in strategic support, project management, or communications roles.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to context-switch in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerBI and project management tools would be an asset.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial services or credit union operations is an asset.

The salary range for the role is $64,500 to $96,500 and a candidate’s offer is likely to be up to the mid-point of the role ($80,500) .
The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and skill.
