The technician will mainly work for one (1) client, on four (4) different sites. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience.
The technician will have extensive expertise in configuring, installing and repairing Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 workstations, installing, configuring and diagnosing peripherals (printers, multifunction, external media) and networking (switches, router, firewall, NAS, WiFi Access Point).
The technician will also have intermediate expertise in the installation, configuration, management and repair of Microsoft Windows servers (2019 and 2022), Microsoft Exchange servers (2016 and 2019), virtualization (VMWare), layer 2 switches, SANs and IP telephony (VoIP).
The technician will travel mostly on the North Shore of Montreal, within 75 km of downtown Montreal. Transportation costs (parking and mileage) will be reimbursed.
The technician will also be required to work upon occasional overtime evenings and weekends to answer service calls (on a rotating basis) or to be part of an IT infrastructure deployment team.
Overtime will be banked or paid, at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per week. Requirements : Essential : -DEC or AEC in computer science or networking -2 years or more of experience -Bilingual English / French spoken -Véhicule and valid driver's license -Autonomous -Dynamics -Very good knowledge of Windows network environments -Credit and criminal background checks Salary : $27 / h for the first 3 months.
