The Role

As an Accountant / Accounting Technician, you’ll play a key role in our public practice operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end Compilation Engagement Reports
• Preparing corporate and personal income tax returns
• Preparing tax slips including T4, T5, and T5018s
• Working with advanced accounting and tax software to deliver accurate, timely results
• Analyzing financial information and identifying issues or opportunities for clients
• Communicating directly with clients and internal team members

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of public practice experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confidence working independently while contributing to a team
• Experience with or exposure to:
  • Caseware
  • Profile
  • JazzIt
  • Excel (intermediate to advanced)
• Professional, client-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
