Rotating Equipment Engineer - Relocate to Saudi Arabia, Permanent Expat Relocation Package
This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full‑time Expat Relocation Package.
The Rotating Equipment Engineer will join the Riyas Engineering & Maintenance Division (REMD) of the Riyas NGL Fractionation Department (RNGLFD). REMD is responsible for common facilities, including feed and product surge storage, chemicals storage, and utilities such as steam and condensate recovery, water, plant, instrument air and nitrogen systems, machinery cooling water, drainage and flare systems. The role involves executing routine maintenance, performing diagnoses, repairs, and overhauls on rotating equipment such as air instruments, steam turbines, gas compressors, gearboxes, pumps and valves.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with organization and facilities SMEs and management to drive rotating equipment reliability initiatives and programs.
- Architect, build and drive strategies to enhance rotating equipment reliability and increase availability and performance.
- Support proactive approaches that identify and address potential issues or threats that could impact rotating equipment reliability.
- Serve as a consultant to different organization entities concerning reliability matters.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate standards, processes and guidelines.
- Work with different organizations and entities to develop digital solutions and tools concerning rotating equipment and related analytics.
- Perform online vibration analysis in Bently Nevada Systems or similar technologies.
- Participate in or support projects and turnarounds and lead rotating equipment commissioning and start‑ups.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering; master’s degree preferred.Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) license desirable.10–15 years of experience in rotating equipment discipline, with at least five years of hands‑on experience in oil and gas.Knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, and international codes, standards and specifications (API 610, 611, 612, 614, 617, 618, 682, 692, 691).Familiarity with investigation tools and techniques such as FRACAS, RCA, TAPROOT.Ability to understand and analyze vibration data; vibration certifications a plus.Strong leadership skills to manage technical discussions and guide technical teams.Experience with predictive maintenance technologies / tools, practices and information for rotating equipment evaluation.Experience providing technical support and quality checks at workshop for machinery such as pumps, turbines, compressors, motors.Experience in technical writing and report development.Strong IT skills, including computer hardware, software, and product data management (PDM) technology skills.Seniority Level
