Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products, providing tax guidance and reviewing personal tax returns submitted by customers, performing full-service return preparation, and managing product / software inquiries.
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and the team’s expertise to research and provide the correct answer to the customer in terms they will understand.
- Act as a virtual, customer-facing role using our state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions for accurate record-keeping.
- Leverage professional tax software to prepare and produce personal tax returns, including complex elements such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
- Possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
- Be willing and available to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Provide a CRA RepID in order to utilize the CRA Represent a Client service upon successful onboarding.
- Possess proficiency in both English and French, delivering real-time guidance to clients across Canada in both languages.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.Experience using professional tax software for personal tax returns, including complex scenarios.Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) returns and Quebec Tax (TP1) returns (asset qualifications).Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.Strong problem-solving and research skills.Skills & Abilities

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range is $24.50 / hour to $33.50 / hour in PEI, BC, and Nova Scotia. The position is eligible for cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on job knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Detroit Metropolitan Area $120,000.00-$150,000.00 1 week ago
