TheOpportunity :

TheMining Operator is responsible for extracting the maximum quantityof highquality jade through a three tofourmonth mining season that runs from June toSeptember .

TheMine site and camp are situated in a mountain valley northwest ofPrince George BC surrounded by the great outdoors in a cozy campenvironment.

Thesuccessful candidate is a skilled heavy equipment operator with theability to operate in rugged and steep terrain.

Simplyput we are looking for an experienced excavator operatorsskilled in operating on mountainous terrain / steepslopes .

Requirements :

• Abilityto operate an excavator in a safe and efficientmanner.
• Ability to work at heights and steepslopes.
• Ability to maintain an excavator andperform basic maintenance; mechanicallyinclined.
• Ability to work in all weatherconditions.
• Ability to work in a teamenvironment.
• Willingness to work in a remotelocation and in a campenvironment.

Responsibilities :

TheMining Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operationof a heavyduty excavator while performing tasks such as digginggrading moving earth and reconstruction.

Thisposition requires the operator to be able to read and understandoperation manuals and operate the excavator safely andefficiently.

The Mining Operators will operateand maintain the machine keeping it in working order whileperforming excavating and othertasks.

• Usethe machine to remove material from the ground by using a bladebucket and other attachments.
• Remove the earthand stone from the excavation site by shovelling pushing andpulling.
• Remove debris and soil caused byexcavation works.
• The operator will use avariety of equipment and techniques that include shovel backhoe andbulldozer.
