Lab Tech

Job Responsibilities

Analytical Testing Production :

• Ensures turn-around-times are not exceeded and establishes sample / testing priorities in the department.
• Performs analytical analyses on samples of varying matrices.
• Verifies accuracy and completeness of in-progress paperwork and analytical data.
• Ensures adherence to applicable ASTM, IEC / Cigre, and in-house developed Test Methods.
• Enters test data and generates analytical reports as is needed.
• Provides a safe and clean working environment in respective department and general lab areas.
• Adheres to and promotes safety policies throughout respective department and general lab areas.
• Maintains generated waste in appropriate containers and within time guidelines.

Travel : Up to 5%

Physical Demands :

Lifting a maximum of 50lbs on a daily. Position requires standing and using computer and / or phone for extended periods of time.
