As a Junior Estimator, you will support the Service team by preparing accurate and timely estimates for inspections, repairs, and service-related work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their estimating career who is looking to grow their technical knowledge in a hands-on, fast-paced service environment.
You’ll work closely with technicians, service coordinators, and management to ensure estimates are aligned with job scope, customer requirements, and internal standards. This role is based in Hamilton within a busy and growing service operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare estimates for deficiency repairs identified through PM inspectionsSource materials and pricing for inspection and repair quotesPrepare quotes for follow-up repairs resulting from service callsAssist with quoting shop breakdowns and evaluationsSupport inspection-related administrative tasksAssist technicians with technical support during service breakdowns when requiredSupport spare parts quoting and ordering as requestedMaintain organized records and spreadsheets related to estimates, inspections, and shop activityAssist with basic reporting on estimates and costs for internal reviewREQUIREMENTS
1–3+ years of estimating, quoting, or service-related experience in an industrial or mechanical environmentMechanical aptitude or technical understanding (hands-on experience an asset)Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision or similar ERP systems is an assetAbility to read and interpret inspection reports and technical informationStrong attention to detail and accuracyOrganized, dependable, and able to manage multiple prioritiesClear communication skills, both written and verbalComfortable working independently while collaborating with a team#INDSTRIVEON
