Role Overview
Teck is looking for an experienced Group Superintendent, Community & Indigenous Relations to join our team at Trail Operations, reporting to the Manager Commercial and accountable to the General Manager, Trail Operations. The role leads the community and Indigenous relations team, strengthening relationships with Indigenous Peoples, implementing agreements with Indigenous governments, supporting negotiations of new agreements, engaging local stakeholders and municipalities, managing community investment, delivering cultural awareness training, ensuring compliance with Teck’s Social Performance Standards and Sustainability Goals, and maintaining timely communications with employees, the public, media, and government.
