Alteo is looking for a Fintech Consultant (treasury software) for a permanent position based in Montreal.

You will establish and develop new projects as well as monitor on-going projects regarding products, budget, quality, and timeline.

Your experience allows you to manage and deliver business and technology projects in the financial industry. Especially your expertise in the fields of treasury solutions , risk management and accounting will enable your success in this role.

You will act generally in agile mode, but you will be experienced enough to understand where a long-term perspective is required to deliver a successful outcome.

Responsibilities : Take an important role in facilitating our project management and make an impact in a growing fintech company by :

  • Joining a highly motivated team dedicated to delivering customer-focused products
  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration by connecting business requirements with technical considerations and programming solutions
  • Discussing on a regular basis client needs to encourage the extension and development of existing applications
  • Working closely with the internal Business team ensuring that business aspects towards the client are covered
  • Solving issues in client’s systems with the help of the internal IT team
  • Supporting the facilitation of deliveries towards the client with the internal team (controlling, time sheets)
  • Applying best practices to provide internal budgets for new projects
  • Making proposals for the client’s management strategy to the solution user
  • Liaising and partnering with clients on the business side to solicit new business opportunities

Profile :

  • University degree in business / finance
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Financial analysis skills in a technological / programming environment
  • Experience in end-to-end business process transformation, change management and continuous improvement management
  • Natural ability to foster client communication and collaboration
  • Knowledge on how to improve business processes
  • Experience with test scenarios
  • Experience with user support
  • Ability to think strategically, analytical, synthesis and communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodology (Scrum, Kanban,) fundamental understanding of the inner workings of a financial services institution and related treasury department
  • Knowledge of treasury products and solutions (foreign exchange, commodities, interest rates, etc.)
  • A natural curiosity that drives you to explore complex topics with multiple interdependencies and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze, extract and interpret relevant information from legal and regulatory texts
  • Very good written and spoken knowledge of French / English (Spanish preferably also)
  • CFA or FRM certification is an asset

Vous établirez et développerez de nouveaux projets et surveillerez les projets en cours en ce qui concerne les produits, le budget, la qualité et l'échéancier.

Votre expérience vous permet de gérer et de livrer des projets commerciaux et technologiques dans l'industrie financière.

Votre expertise dans les domaines des solutions de trésorerie , de la gestion des risques et de la comptabilité vous permettra de réussir dans ce rôle.

Vous agirez généralement en mode agile, mais vous serez suffisamment expérimenté pour comprendre quand une perspective à long terme est nécessaire pour obtenir un résultat positif.

Responsabilités : Jouer un rôle important dans la gestion de nos projets et avoir un impact dans une entreprise en pleine croissance dans le domaine de la technologie financière :

  • Rejoindre une équipe très motivée qui se consacre à la fourniture de produits axés sur le client.
  • Favoriser la collaboration interfonctionnelle en reliant les exigences commerciales aux considérations techniques et aux solutions de programmation.
  • Discuter régulièrement des besoins des clients pour encourager l'extension et le développement des applications existantes.
  • travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe commerciale interne en veillant à ce que les aspects commerciaux liés au client soient couverts
  • résoudre les problèmes liés aux systèmes du client avec l'aide de l'équipe informatique interne
  • soutenir la facilitation des livraisons au client avec l'équipe interne (contrôle de gestion, feuilles de temps)
  • appliquer les meilleures pratiques pour fournir des budgets internes pour les nouveaux projets
  • faire des propositions pour la stratégie de gestion du client à l'utilisateur de la solution
  • Assurer la liaison et le partenariat avec les clients sur le plan commercial afin de solliciter de nouvelles opportunités commerciales.

Profil :

  • Diplôme universitaire en commerce / finance
  • 5 ans d'expérience pertinente
  • Compétences en matière d'analyse financière dans un environnement technologique / de programmation
  • Expérience de la transformation de bout en bout des processus d'entreprise, de la gestion du changement et de la gestion de l'amélioration continue
  • Capacité naturelle à favoriser la communication et la collaboration avec les clients
  • Connaissance de la manière d'améliorer les processus d'entreprise
  • Expérience des scénarios de test
  • Expérience en matière d'assistance aux utilisateurs
  • Capacité de réflexion stratégique, d'analyse, de synthèse et de communication
  • Connaissance de la méthodologie de gestion de projet (Scrum, Kanban,) compréhension fondamentale du fonctionnement interne d'une institution de services financiers et du département de trésorerie qui s'y rattache
  • Connaissance des produits et solutions de trésorerie (change, matières premières, taux d'intérêt, etc.)
  • Une curiosité naturelle qui vous pousse à explorer des sujets complexes avec de multiples interdépendances et parties prenantes
  • Capacité à analyser, extraire et interpréter des informations pertinentes à partir de textes juridiques et réglementaires.
  • Très bonne connaissance écrite et orale du français et de l'anglais (de préférence de l'espagnol également)
  • La certification CFA ou FRM est un atout
