Description :

The Showroom and Brands Consultant will be working in a brand new showroom Downtown Montreal. The purpose of the job is to present / introduce the brands products to the persons coming to the showroom, being a specialist.

On a day to day basis this person will be taking care of the showroom (clean, welcoming and walking clients around (average of 3 appointments per day + Walk in), do a follow up with clients after their visit.

They will also be responsible of company events for professional clients. The candidate will also be working closely with a marketing agency for social media content and communication.

This position will be a mix of customer service (interacting with clients) and clerical / administrative.

This is not a sales job, the clients can not purchase the products in the showroom.

The position include 2 annual events that involve travelling (Toronto and California). This might not be a requirement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as showroom brand ambassador for the 3 brands, facilitating showroom appointments and event experiences.
  • Understands the brands and products and is able to explain and demonstrate features and benefits in varying lifestyle applications.

Support this function with a commitment to continued product learning.

  • Responsive to consumer inquiries and requests with solutions focused approach, escalating as needed to the Regional Marketing Manager.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders to help close sales cycle, including follow-up with client and provision of resources and specifications.
  • Manages and provides updates to showroom calendars and events schedules, using available CRM tools and internal identified systems.
  • Gathers information and resources from available sources to integrate into client product presentations.
  • Maintains designer data base relevant to Trade programs.
  • Promotes trade program benefits, and is responsive to members’ inquiries, registrations and experience.
  • Assists in maintaining the showroom appearance, inventory and displays.
  • Compliant with organizations purchasing, accounting and data keeping policies.
  • Assists with the execution of showrooms activities (virtual or in person) including events, culinary

demonstrations and sales and training activities as directed.

Assists in the assembly and distribution of promotional materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

MUST HAVES

  • Perfectly bilingual English and French both Written and Spoken (Needs to verify the writing)
  • College or University Diploma
  • Professional maturity with at least 2 / 3 years of professional experience (Customer service, showroom, administrative).

Experience in both Admin AND CS is required.

Solid knowledge of MS Office and tech savvy overall (good use of social media)

NICE TO HAVES

  • Knowledge of home appliances.
  • Professional experience in events management
