Here’s what you’ll be doing :
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, trade shows, etc.Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and / or close on businessUnderstands the overall market-competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demandCloses the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needsDevelops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunitiesManages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersSupports the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experienceDoes this sound like you?
Post-secondary education, preferably a degree or diploma in business or hospitality with a minimum of two years’ experience, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to work as part of a team with strong strategic selling skills preferably within the hotel / tourism industryExcellent skills using MS Word, Excel, and Power PointAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretionExcellent problem solving / judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressureAbility to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlinesAbility to work flexible hours when requiredFlexibility to travelSource : Crescent Hotels & Resorts
