We are looking for a Technical Analyst that encompasses the specialised systems we use, including InEight Document and Bluebeam, with a primary focus on enhancements, efficiency improvements, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications :
- Skilled Technical writer or Business analyst with knowledge of major projects and / or engineering requirements
- InEight system (configuration) working knowledge
- Bluebeam system (configuration) working knowledge
- SharePoint system (configuration) working knowledge (optional)
- Database knowledge

This role can be based in Perth, W.A. or Brisbane, Qld.
About the Team
The PDM team sits under the Project Services - Engineering team. We are responsible for the high-quality delivery of data management and control on major projects and studies across our Tier one client.
Our client has two streams, Delivery and Advisory.
The delivery team provides day-to-day data control support to our project owners' team via the PDM Core Service. The advisory team provides technical and advisory support to our global projects, in very close partnership with PDM delivery.
This role sits under Advisory and is called PDM Technical. Technical support covers the specialist systems that we use with a key focus on enhancements, finding efficiency, and troubleshooting.
Role : The PDM Technical Analyst reports to the Senior Advisor PDM Technical. The Analyst role supports our global PDM teams based in London, Guinea, Perth, Brisbane, Montreal, Phoenix, Buenos Aires, Mongolia, and Belgrade.
Outside core hours may be required to help troubleshoot issues or provide specialist training in America / Canada / Argentina or Europe, so the candidate will need to be flexible managing their 8 hours.
Currently, we attend the office 2 to 3 days per week; if having morning or late afternoon calls, the candidate can do this from home rather than be in the office outside core hours.
Responsibilities :
- Must have worked in a similar role within the mining and resources sector.
- Proficient with data management system InEight Document (Administration function rather than process function, able to UAT project builds and change settings or security as required, able to test new functionality).
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu to assist the team in resolving access issues (will be decommissioned by the end of the year, so not a high requirement).
- Knowledge of SharePoint permissions and access control across project sites (knowledge of Microsoft Guest access to help external users having issues, understanding of how library permissions work).
- Manage the PDM Technical ticketing system based on Power Apps where all users log issues and enhancements.
- Expected to close out tickets according to SLAs.
- Provide guidance and support for system issues and access escalations.
- Create and update tools and guidance (Work Instructions / FAQs / Tips & Tricks, etc.).
- Escalate technology 'Service Now' process issues for the wider team.
- Understanding the basics of APIs including development, data analysis, and integration (currently working on APIs between InEight and Aconex;
work is outsourced but some internal approvals, access may be required to assist the Company).
- Working knowledge of Power Apps and flows to improve ticketing systems (ticketing systems are not working properly or designed to work efficiently).
- Coordinate with the appropriate IS&T business partners to obtain approvals.
- Assist line leader to help deliver technical stream initiatives.
