SUMMARY :
Join Merit Services’ client in Toronto as a Bricklayer Helper and work alongside experienced bricklayers in the construction of new buildings and structures.
As a Bricklayer Helper, you will provide vital support to the bricklayers, and ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the construction industry and contribute to the creation of impressive new structures.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist bricklayers in preparing and setting up work sites, including gathering materials and tools to ensure efficiency.
- Prepare and mix mortar, and set up equipment such as scaffolding, ladders, and lifts to ensure safe and effective work.
- Cut and shape bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials to the required size and shape.
- Aid in laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials in a systematic and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines at all times, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Highschool or equivalent.
- Experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions, demonstrating a strong attention to detail.
