This position is responsible for assisting the Project Engineer with projects within the facility related to product development, engineering, and manufacturing processes. This also includes all building upgrades and equipment improvements.
Responsibilities :
- Work on drawings including the updating of existing plant layouts, as well as technical drawings related to specific projects and equipment
- Help on engineering and process projects specifically related to the improvement of the manufacturing area
- Assist the Project Engineer in a variety of specific projects
- Provide assistance in the updating / accuracy of line layouts and line improvements
- Assist with installation of equipment related to new product start-up
- Assist with line efficiency / improvement projects
- Input into project layout & design
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook
- Ensure GMPs and safe food handling practices are being followed
Qualifications :
Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering TechnologyUnderstanding of processes related to manufacturingAutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project skills required
