Cascade is looking for a Project Manager to ensure all project management processes, schedules, budgets, resources, and mitigation plans comply with Cascade processes while meeting the customer's expectations.

This position may provide guidance to lower levels. Reports directly to the Senior Program Manager within the Program Management Office.

  • Responsible to create, develop and produce the Project Charter, Project Management Plans and other required project artefacts, for new and uncharted projects and / or customers;
  • Interface with customer as the primary point of contact for project execution;
  • Execute project as per the Project Management Plan and ensure that all initiatives have a clear success criteria;
  • Track and manage project tasks, resource assignment, and customer change requests;
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of all projects and communicate status to clients and management;
  • Provide direction and support to project team members, functional managers and customers;
  • Manage customer expectations in terms of schedule, cost, scope and quality;
  • Provide guidance for production release activities, including impact / risk assessment and sponsor / business communication;
  • Other duties as required.

  • Business writing skills are an asset
  • Ability to perform in fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate excellent initiative and determination
  • Highly skilled with MS Office, emphasis on Microsoft Project and Power Point
  • Diploma in Business or Project Management or an equivalent of education, training and experience
  • Background in Aerospace or related industries preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in stringently regulated industry such as Aerospace / Aviation / Military / Government
  • Project Management training either formally trained or by proven on-the-job training
