The Opportunity :

DS Consultants Ltd. (DS), a division of BluMetric is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the Vaughan office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional looking to grow their career and gain broad exposure across all core HR functions. As an HR Generalist, you will work closely with the Group Human Resources team and internal DS stakeholders, reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, to provide accurate, timely, and compliant HR support.

This is an existing role within the organization and provides the chance to make a meaningful impact while contributing to a collaborative and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive generalist human resources support across onboarding and offboarding, group benefits administration, payroll coordination, professional development, employee relations, separations and policy development.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy requirements.
• Support the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of HR procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation to management and employees for business operations.
• Assist in the development of HR metrics, dashboards and standard reports, including ad hoc

analyses to support workforce planning, decision-making, and regulatory reporting.

Key Qualifications and Requirements :

College Diploma or University Degree specializing in Human Resources, Business or related field

5 (five) 7 (seven) years of experience in human resources, or 3 (three) 4 (four) years in an HR Generalist role.

CHRP designation (or working towards) is an asset.

A valid G drivers license, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel to various office locations.

Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations at provincial and federal levels.

Applies sound judgment and discretion, consulting with employees or management as needed to navigate complex matters.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, with strong organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Strong time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
