CA$130,897.00 / yr - CA$191,982.00 / yr

  • Position Title : Psychologist
  • Clinic Location : Synergy Health Centre (3960 Quadra Street, Victoria, BC, V8X 4A3)
  • Status : Full Time and Part Time employment available
  • Schedule : Monday-Friday (2 to 5 days per week, flexible hours)
  • Compensation : $130,897 – $191,982 per year for Full Time Permanent employees

As a psychologist connected to Synergy Health Centre, part of the Lifemark Health Group, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high‑quality care to our clients and could work remotely, from anywhere in Canada.

Support & Resources

  • Specialty Services : Work with Canadian Veterans and other clients funded by WorkSafeBC, insurance providers, and private payers.
  • Administrative Support : Administrative team facilitates paperwork, booking, billing, and online scheduling.

  • Diverse Caseload : Expect a stable caseload with the flexibility to integrate pre‑existing clients.
  • Central support services team to help you focus on clients and their plans of care.
  • Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual treatment for conditions including anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment, and interpersonal issues.
  • Consult with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide assessment competencies for pre‑employment suitability assessments, diagnostic assessments, and psychosocial resource building.
  • Leverage novel approaches to service delivery, including adjunct digital therapeutics.
  • Contribute to in‑house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions.
  • Support program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or PhD in Psychology.
  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (Adult : Clinical, Rehabilitation and / or Neuropsychology).
  • Maintenance of individual professional liability / malpractice insurance is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills focused on patient‑centered care.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, multi‑disciplinary environment.
  • Extra Points in Your Application

  • Clinical practice experience.
  • Preference for experience working with an interdisciplinary team focused on health and / or rehabilitation.
  • Experience with third‑party payers such as VAC / PCVRS, WCB, Auto Insurers, Disability Insurers.
  • Practical experience and training in evidence‑based treatment (CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.), with an asset in health and rehabilitation.
  • Clinical experience in psychological assessment with a focus on treatment recommendations / planning.
