- Actas the face of The Whitetooth Grill, hosting and interacting with guests on adaily basis.
- RepresentKicking Horse Mountain Resort to suppliers, sponsors, and businessrepresentatives in a professional and ethical manner.
- Bean advocate for health and safety, ensuring a safe, clean working environment.
- Managescheduling in accordance with employment policies and labor targets.
- Provideassistance in submitting payroll information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Contributeto and facilitate multiple administrative functions, including but not limitedto inventory management, ordering and reporting.
- Assistin the development and presentation of quality food, service, and cleanliness.
- Maintaineffective communications through restaurant, department and resort.
- RepresentKicking Horse Mountain Resort to suppliers, sponsors and businessrepresentatives in a professional and ethical manner.
- Hire,train, coach and develop a successful & enthusiastic team of back of houseemployees each season, engaging in performance management and positivecorrection as needed.
- Establish,communicate, train and monitor back of house procedures while supporting thefront of house team lead to do the same.
- Managethe development and implementation of employee orientation and training.
- Reporton and evaluate successes and shortfalls at the end of each season.
- Participatethe planning, execution and follow up of weddings, special events and groupfunctions.
- Otherduties as required.
Requirements
Previous management experience is anassetComprehensive knowledge of food andservice standardsExtensive customer service and peoplemanagement experiencePrevious experience with cash handlingand administrationProficiency with MS Office (Outlook,Word, Excel) and Point-of-Sale softwareCurrent Occupational First Aid (OFA)Level 3 an assetPostgraduate diploma, certification, ordegree an assetEssential Skills
