Automotive Services Advisor

Adecco is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Mechanical Services Advisor in Richmond, BC, to join our client, a leading company in the automotive wholesale industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of vehicles through auction services according to specified requirements.

If you have a minimum of 3 years of Service Advisor experience, coupled with Automotive industry experience and a solid understanding of automotive parts and product lines, then this position may be ideal for you.

• Location : Richmond, BC
• Pay Rate : $23 - $25 / Hour, depending on experience
• Shifts : Rotation Monday to Friday OR Tuesday - Saturday 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM Overtime opportunity
• Assignment Type : Permanent Full-time

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate flow of vehicles through auction services improving days to turn
• Facilitate day to day operations of Mechanical & Frontline shops with rapidly expanding Non-auction / buyer smart repairs
• Assess and quote needed repairs as well as communicate with customers on a daily basis
• Source parts and look up labour times
• Establish working relationship with suppliers and vendors
• Input of parts and labour costs into the Portal. Bill out of work performed with the correct charges and mark ups
• Manage workload and delegate jobs for technicians and shops workflow
• Process pre-sale and post-sale inspections
• Identify Arbitration units and source repairs and resolutions
• Assist with windshield and key replacements
• Perform moderately complex clerical and numerical processing activities of a clerical nature including selecting, compiling, verifying and processing data
• Investigate discrepancy and communicate same to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Electronically or manually enter moderately complex reports and processes data
• May order office supplies, sort and distribute mail, process materials for courier, fax documents, photocopy etc.

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
• Minimum of 3 years of Service Advisor experience
• Automotive industry experience with a strong understanding of automotive parts and product lines
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of working well under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Flexible schedule required Monday-Saturday
