As an LPN at Vancouver Coastal Health you will :

• Work independently and collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, perform full scope of practical nursing functions for clients with predictable outcomes within a designated area of specialty.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document client care, and providing support to clients and their families.
• Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and under general supervision, support the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes or where the acuity or complexity of care requires an advanced level of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licenced Practical Nurses.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.

Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.As per the current Public Health Orders, as of October 5, 2023, all employees working for Vancouver Coastal Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have received a single dose of the most-recent, updated COVID-19 vaccine.

Proof of vaccination status will be required.
