Job Responsibilities :

The Park Attendant at Simeon Park, part of Magna International Inc., is responsible for maintaining park grounds and facilities. The role also involves supporting guest services for park events and recreation programs. This position reports directly to the Operations Coordinator of Simeon Park.

Major Responsibilities

Park & Facility Maintenance

• Maintain park grounds.
• Clean and upkeep the pool facility.
• Clean and maintain indoor facilities (e.g., washrooms, pavilion).
• Perform lawn maintenance.
• Conduct groundskeeping (trail maintenance, sports facility upkeep, garbage collection).
• Operate machinery as needed.
• Clean, move, and assemble outdoor equipment (e.g., tents, barbecues, picnic tables, sports field equipment).
• Perform general labour, including some heavy lifting.

Work Environment

The Park Attendant role involves working primarily outdoors, in various weather conditions. This role includes walking, lifting, and completing maintenance tasks throughout the park grounds.
