Performance Engineer - SRE

6-month Performance Engineer contact role working on a high-profile program with a local enterprise organization

What & Why :

In this role you'll define performance standards and monitor real-time data across mainly web and on occasion mobile platforms to identify optimization opportunities. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot slowdowns, improve load times, and enhance user experience through better caching, asset delivery, and testing with industry-standard tools. The role requires 7+ years of experience with performance engineering, proficiency in tools like Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, and Xcode Instruments, plus knowledge of CDNs, cloud platforms, and CI / CD processes ideally in high-traffic ecommerce environments.
