Findur Developer- Secret Clearance

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Findur Developer for a 2-year remote contract. This role is with our Crown corporation client in downtown Ottawa, ON.

The successful candidate must be eligible for a valid Secret Security Clearance .

The Findur Developer will have the following responsibilities :

• Analyze, design and implement enhancements to meet business requirements (regulatory driven and technology evergreening);
• Perform technical and root-cause analysis on issues and make recommendation for correction;
• Promote development practices such as test-driven development and DevOps;
• Adopt and champion the current frameworks that have been built to automate and modernize the Findur application;

Ongoing activities and deliverable, as required

The Findur Developer must meet the following mandatory requirements :

• Must have a University degree or college diploma in computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience with Findur or Endur;
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with Java-based application development using Eclipse IDE, preferably with Oracle RBMS in the backend;
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with RDBMS databases; solid understanding of SQL;
• Must have demonstrated experience in supporting applications with high-criticality, availability, reliability, and security requirements;

Demonstrated experience with Agile projects (SCRUM)

Demonstrated experience with performance testing

Demonstrated experience with financial applications / systems

Demonstrated experience with data warehouses

Demonstrated experience with DevOps (Jenkins, GitHUB)
