Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie / Spirit River region.
BONANZA SCHOOL is seeking candidates who enjoy working in a student-focused and collaborative environment. Educational Assistants work under the supervision of a certificated teacher.
We invite applications for a Temporary Part-Time Educational Assistant (14 Hours / week). This position supports both the Junior Kindergarten / Kindergarten programs.
The assignment for the junior kindergarten program will run from October 2, 2024 to May 28, 2025. The assignment for the kindergarten program will run from September 3, 2024 to June 25, 2025.
Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred CPR / First Aid would be considered an asset Experience working with children in a classroom / organized setting is preferred You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care.
You have the ability to meet outside of school hours. You have the ability to work as part of a team.
