About the Role
We are seeking an IPTV Coordinator to join OEG’s Production Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for all content displayed at Rogers Place and the ICE District IPTV & LED screens. The successful candidate will be a life‑long learner and have an aptitude for, and interest in, learning new equipment, systems, and workflows. This person will thrive as part of a tight‑knit group and is not shy to support the team through longer, unpredictable hours, as well on evenings and weekends. This person will be early in their technical career with 2+ years of experience under their belt and will also be eager to grow and learn in an ever‑evolving entertainment landscape.
Your Focus in this Role
- Responsible for ingesting, organizing, scheduling, and trafficking all content displayed on Rogers Place and Ice District IPTV and LED screens using WiPro VisionEDGE software and hardware.
- Ensure quality control for all supplied digital signage content, including a wide variety of static and animated graphics in various formats for various digital displays at Rogers Place.
- Actively monitor the IPTV system during live events at Rogers Place. Receive reports of issues, deploy resources, troubleshoot deficiencies, and resolve problems with the relevant hardware and / or software.
- Keep accurate and up‑to‑date documentation pertaining to deployed digital media players, televisions, IP addresses, MAC addresses, and incoming and outgoing multicast streams.
- Work with the Director, Corporate Partnerships, and Concession Managers on initiatives, activations, content management, and concession menus.
- Properly format and distribute IPTV traffic reports to various stakeholders that contain advertising as‑run logs.
- Direct, train, coordinate, and schedule part‑time employees to operate the IPTV system for certain events.
- Create event‑based documentation such as check lists and responsibility matrices for part‑time employees and external contractors.
- Support the Digital Display Specialist in deploying content to various LED screens for Rogers Place events using Ross XPression and Dashboard software.
- The IPTV Coordinator is part of the Production Systems and Services department and will be called upon to operate video and audio production equipment.

Post‑secondary degree / diploma in a related field, such as :
Computing SciencesIT ServicesGraphics DesignDigital Video Production1 to 3 years’ experience in a related position within the industry.Foundational networking knowledge in TCP / IP, IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, the OSI model, and core network topologies (physical and logical).Understand key network technologies and equipment, such as switches, routers, and physical layer‑one infrastructure, including cabling types, standards, and basic network design concepts.Knowledge in AV production equipment such as cameras, mics, speakers, audio mixers, playback devices, graphics hardware, video switchers, editing equipment, etc.Proficiency in Microsoft Productivity software.Experience using image‑creating software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.Must be willing to receive training in mobile elevated work platforms (lifts), ladders, and to operate them at height.Must use basic hand tools to mount televisions and digital media players, and to troubleshoot and maintain video walls and LED displays.What’s in it for you?
