Summary :

Reporting to the PCB Team Leader and Supervisor, the Post Wave and Visual Inspection Operator / Assembler is responsible for visual inspection, hand soldering, lead trimming, and working with various hand tools to produce high-quality PCB assemblies. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction This is a full time permanent role, afternoon shift, based in our Pointe Claire,QC facility.

Key Responsibilites :

• Inspect solder joints, part polarity, and component placement.
• Repair post-wave soldered boards and components.
• Trim component leads on electronic boards.
• Hand solder components onto boards as per work instructions.
• Use torque drivers to install parts during final assembly.
• Ensure all jobs are properly labeled, with correct quantities and required documentation.
• Maintain and clean soldering and de-soldering equipment.
• Keep immediate work area in clean and orderly condition.
• Advise Supervisor or Lead Hand of any abnormal conditions.
• Offer suggestions for continual improvement.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Standards & Compliance Procedures.
