Sales Engineer (Southwestern Ontario) Sensors
Salary $85,000-95,000 CAD Basis Salary + Commission & Bonus
Mackenzie Stuart is currently recruiting for a Field Sales Engineer who will report into the Regional Sales Director of a leading Global Manufacturer of Automation Solutions.
The position is responsible for account management & business development throughout the Southwestern Ontario territory.
Role Responsibilities :
- Promote and sell products within the assigned territory
- Prospect, develop and secure new customers to expand market share.
- Nurture relationships at existing accounts to maintain and expand our share there
- Perform customer visits
- Follow up on assigned leads
- Prepares account plans, sales forecast and targets for approval
- Thoroughly inquire about project requirements : technical, commercial and timeline
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Identify the suitable product for the application; successfully match customer
- pain / requirements to proposed solutions
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the
- uniqueness of our value proposition
Candidate Requirements :
- 4 years degree (technical degree preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in outside technical sales or relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of B2B selling
- Knowledge of the industrial market(s) including factory automation
- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices related to building automation systems
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications (i.e. PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
