Job Overview :
What will you do in this job?
Tour guides / captains demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest. Responsibilities include :
- Operate tour boats with the safety of all passengers as the primary focus, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
- Provide an interpretive tour experience in accordance with our programming standards.
- Assist guests with any needs while on tour and at Spirit Island.
- Maintain trip and mechanical logs.
- Operate in a 1st responder role under direction from home base to any on-water incidents.
- Interact closely with our fleet maintenance team regarding mechanical issues.
- Sustain a safe and clean environment in all areas controlled by Maligne Lake.

Position Requirements :
English Fluency Level required for the position : Intermediate.

- Mechanically inclined; Marine First Aid required (course will be scheduled during training).
- Class 4 driver’s license is an asset.
- All employees must consent to a criminal record check.
