Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Network Administrator 3. This full-time contract Network Administrator 3 role supports the design, implementation, and ongoing support of mission-critical control center computer systems and local and wide area networks (LAN / WAN). The position works as part of a small, dedicated team responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining highly available systems that support operational virtualization initiatives. The role involves supporting enterprise-level infrastructure across a distributed geographic environment and ensuring reliable performance of critical network and system operations.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full-time onsite 5 days weekly in Vancouver, Washington.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $57.00 - $65.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in electronics, computer engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or a related field is preferred.
10 years of experience and knowledge in computer network and systems concepts, principles, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission system is required.
Experience should be related to IT Infrastructure Engineering and include work in hands-on technical implementation of networks and systems.
5 years of experience working with firewalls and network systems.
3 years of experience implementing and maintaining network security in a large enterprise environment (data center).
3 years of experience performing network management and operations tasks in a large enterprise environment (data center).
Valid U.S.REAL ID Driver's License is required.
Preferred Skills :
Experience working in an Enterprise Data Center with high availability requirements. Familiarity and experience with server virtualization best practices and requirements, firewalls, Cisco switching and routing, and SAN / NAS storage infrastructure implementation. Experience managing and deploying AAA (Access, Authentication, & Authorization) services for infrastructure equipment, along with cabling and fiber management systems. Knowledge of vulnerability research methodologies and sources, best-practice data center physical infrastructure requirements, software-defined networking (SDN), and network virtualization. Familiarity with NERC CIP and Reliability standards.
Experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and router encryption, as well as fiber optic communication system design.
Preferred certifications include CCNA and MCSA.
