Were seeking a customer-focused retail professional who thrives on creating memorable experiences and driving sales. In this dual role, youll be at the heart of our retail operationsengaging directly with customers and guiding them through their boating journey. Youll also support our marketing efforts through digital campaigns, social media content, and event promotions. On average, you can expect to spend approximately 70% of your time in sales and 30% in marketing.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $50,000 annual salary plus opportunity to earn commissions and bonuses.
• Commission Structure: Gross sales of $1.5$2 million typically generate $15,000$20,000 in commissions.

The Ideal Candidate

Were looking for a people-focused, results-driven retail professional who thrives on connecting with customers and delivering exceptional experiences. Marketing skills are an asset, but your primary focus is on sales and customer engagement.

You have:

• 2+ years of retail or direct sales experience, preferably with high-ticket items (boats, vehicles, luxury goods).
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with boating or a passion for the industry (highly valued).
• Experience in marketing, social media, or digital advertising is an asset, but not required.

What You Will Be Doing

Sales & Customer Engagement Duties (Primary):

• Follow the Legend Boats sales process to sell new and used boats, motors, and trailers.
• Manage online leads, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
• Handle in-store customer traffic and ensure a positive, knowledgeable experience.
• Follow up with recent buyers to ensure satisfaction and invite them to future events.
• Call back leads generated from marketing campaigns and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Provide support during weekends, holidays, and events as scheduled.
• Collaborate with the retail team to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives.
  
  

Marketing Duties (Secondary):

• Assist with digital advertising campaigns to generate leads and drive awareness.
• Update website and online boat listings with accurate, enticing content.
• Support social media by creating or localizing content, engaging posts, and highlighting promotions.
• Assist in the setup and execution of events, trade shows, and open houses.
• Translate marketing materials and create French content where applicable.
