Job Responsibilities
- Carefully review and identify all electrical components needed for equipment functioning (sensors, cables, IO block, pneumatic valves, etc.)
- Correct and confirm BOMs
- Leverage shop floor experience to identify potential lack of feasibility with regards to integration
- Liaise between the electrical engineering and electrical build teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
442A or 330A licensed electrician with 5-10 years’ experienceGood working knowledge of automation systems (PLC control, pneumatic actuation, motion control)Good working knowledge of fluid systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, design, fittings, pressure, flow, etc.)Working understanding of mechanical design an assetFamiliarity with AutoCAD or similar design software an assetExcellent attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skillsConfidence using the Microsoft Office SuiteAble to work in a fast-paced environmentReporting Subordinates
