Job Description : We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Construction Equipment Technician to maintain, repair, and inspect our fleet of heavy construction machinery.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the success of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on construction equipment, such as changing fluids, filters, and lubricating parts.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment complies with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and perform repairs on-site as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to address complex issues and enhance equipment performance.

- Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in diesel mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience : Proven experience as a construction equipment technician or in a similar role.
- Skills :
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
