About the Role
LodgeLink is inviting a Senior Mobile Engineer in Calgary to join our Mobile team and help shape the future of workforce travel. We pursue a user‑focused, elegant, and rapid development approach, favoring modern mobile stack and strong problem‑solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop Android and iOS apps in a cloud environment backed by gRPC, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Own new features and collaborate with Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, and peers to create quality, test‑driven code.
- Work within a cross‑functional agile team to deliver the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Qualifications
Understanding of the full mobile app development lifecycle.Familiarity with architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture.Strong understanding of SDLC, SOLID principles, data / behavior / test‑driven development, and Clean Code.Experience with collections, multithreading, synchronization, unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and modern Android tools (Coroutine, Flow, KTX).Knowledge of Android SDK, Swift, Kotlin, and dependency‑injection frameworks (Koin, Hilt, Dagger 2).Experience with image‑loading libraries (Picasso) and Android ViewLifecycle components.Familiarity with CI / CD practices, Git, pull requests, and code‑review practices.Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.About LodgeLink
