Job Summary

Lead / Staff Scientist Decarbonization is expected toInitiate Propose and Execute research and developmentDebottlenecking / Revamp Energy saving Sustainability improvementprograms directed towards the improvement of processes andcommercial technologies towards achieving Decarbonization.

Providetechnology solution to improve energy consumption water utilizationin commercial plants in carbon efficient manner as needed.

TheDecarbonization technologist is required to support in GrowthProjects and evaluate energy efficiency carbon footprint ofmultiple designs of low carbon ammonia plants be aware of thedifferences of available licensing technology from main licensorsand the impact on energy and carbon footprint in each configurationsupport the project team to select the most efficienttechnology.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Provide directions and energy carbon footprint assessmentleading to optimum technology selection for low carbon Ammoniadevelopment and technology configuration of the process
• Aware of Decarbonization solutions in the industry andcan link it to the technology selection exercise
• Provide energy efficiency report and improve these incommercial plants
• Development of PlantwideModel to report energy consumption and Guide the energyImprovements / Performance in the plant
• Carryout Energy and mass balance calculations Energy Optimization / PinchStudies Pump calculations Feasibility study & Revampstudy
• Independently Review EngineeringDocuments & Steer energy balance for optimum technologyselection and technology improvements
• Collaborate with external companies startups anduniversities and lead projects toward implementation in theplant
• Provide insights directions and supportto product development within the group
• Actively contribute to safety culture coaching youngemployees and initiating new programs

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Riyadh SaudiArabia.
• Masters or PhD ispreferred.
• Experience of 15 years in dealingwith mega projects supporting existing assets in Decarbonizationenergy efficiency improvements.
• Strategicthinking and planning.
• Leadership skills towork and influence highly talented people with diversifieddisciplines and cultures.
• Ability to createfoster and drive a culture for innovation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
• Highly selfmotivated.
